On May 8th, the MARIO Project team held an Open Day, in the Clinical Science Institute, Galway. NUI Galway staff and students, as well as practitioners within the health and care sectors, had an opportunity to meet MARIO and hear about our project.

Members of the MARIO team were on hand to demonstrate his controls and showcase his applications, e.g. News, Music, My Family.

The attendees were excited to learn about the technology behind MARIO and they particularly enjoyed the opportunity to interact with MARIO and test his usability for themselves.
